Age & License Requirements

• Renters must be 118years of age or older
• A valid U.S. driver's license is required at the time of pickup
• Your license must have been held for a minimum of 1 year
• International renters must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their foreign license

ID Verification

• A government-issued photo ID must be presented at pickup
• A government issued photo ID must be attached when signing the Rental Agreement 
• The name on your ID must match the name on the reservation exactly
• Chariot Rentals reserves the right to refuse service if ID cannot be verified

Insurance Requirements

• Renters must carry valid personal auto insurance that extends coverage to rental vehicles
• Proof of insurance must be provided before the vehicle is released

Driver Eligibility & Prohibited Uses

Who Can Drive

• Only the approved renter on file may operate the vehicle
• Additional drivers must be pre-approved by Chariot Rentals prior to the rental period

Prohibited Uses — The following are strictly not allowed:

• Track use or racing of any kind
• Off-road driving
• Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle
• Transporting pets
• Using the vehicle to push or tow another vehicle
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Transporting illegal substances or engaging in any illegal activity
• Driving outside of agreed mileage or geographic limits

Violations Any violation of the above may result in immediate termination of the rental, forfeiture of the security deposit, and additional charges billed to the renter.
